I don't know what to think of this one. Some parts I really like and then some are just noise. And what about that bass? Can anybody tell me where I can get one of those?

That's a trick Eddie used on "Cathedral" on the Diver Down album: delay + hammer-on + volume down/up. Sounds much better on the guitar.

How many times do we need this thread? Does ANYONE really think he did that to show off what a talented bassist he is? Its called a sense of humor, you should get one...they are nice.

Well, excuse me. I searched for Michael Anthony bass solo and the only one that came up that looked like I might be repeating was linked to a video on YouTube that has been removed. I apologize if I offended you by reposting a video that was previously posted in an obscure thread somewhere that I can't find. And I don't remember making a comment about how talented he is or is not. I try not to discuss who is or who is not talented because who I find to be talented isn't necessarily who other people find talented. Van Halen is a classic example; they're not near the top of my favorites list but other people live and breath them. So, are they talented or not?

As far as a sense of humor goes, can I have yours? It dosen't look like you're using it anymore.

I love Michael Anthony. He's rock solid, always has a good groove, and sings like a mofo. Plus, he's a cool, fun dude in general, and I'd love to in a band with him.
