I like Vic and the 'Tones' but I'm a devout funkster and would go see TOP in a flash!!

I've seen the Flecktones a million times (slight exaggeration) and have not seen Rocco so I personally would go to TOP.

But if you have never seen the Flecktones, by all means go to that (is it Flecktones or just a Bela/Vic duo)?

(just checked the website and it is a Flecktones show)

AMEN!
i have to admit. i'd much rather see TOP than the Flecktones, as a band- i can only take so much jazz banjo... and i wish Futureman played a real kit sometimes... but I have seen TOP the last 3 times they were here. They were BUMPIN!
I have never seen Vic live... though Imet him once-
I wish i could have caught Vic with Mike Stern and Dennis Chambers!

Next best thing was a local clinic with Vic, drummer Larry Bright(plays like DC), Tom Coster, & Frank Gambale. Special guests were Keith Horne & Victor's older brother, Rudy, on alto.
...Rudy, IMO, blew them all away!

I've seen both many times.....Last year I saw TOP, and their singer was awesome! I can't remember his name but the best singer they ever had, tore the roof off! Of course Rocco & David Garibaldi where awesome too. But to answer your question.....if you have never seen Victor.....you have go see Victor, he is a force of nature Futureman plays more real kit these days, last time I saw him, he had a real kit along with his synthaxe.......it made a HUGE difference

For some reason I think Vic will be around longer so go see as much of Rocco as you can now.

I would like to see both. But I doubt that they will come to Iceland..

Anyway, I think I would choose Victor. But I'm not sure, because TOP is an awesome band.

you know, it just MIGHT be TOP- you see, i am taking a date and she will definitely enjoy the music of TOP more than the Flectones. I can always catch Vic some other time with a fellow bass freak-
it's not for girls...
