Who else went and what you think. I thought it was amazing seeing and meeting those guys. Added extra for meeting Beaver and seeing David Pastorius.

A buddy of mine bumped into Wooten and got autographs down here in Miami yesterday. I am so jealous...

vic at Bass Central

Yea I was there. It was really cool and informative. It was especially nice to see a bunch of my fellow bassist from around Central Florida. got to catch up with some guys that I really respect and hadn't seen in a while. Bass Central is the bomb, really lucky to live near the place and the staff and ownership are the best, hats off to Beaver and Dave.

So...... who is David Pastorius?
- some relation to Jaco I'm guessing -

Is he any good? or just riding along on the coattails of the somewhat famous last name????

I know that David Pastorius toured with Big Organ Trio in Japan, and Im pretty sure he is Jaco's nephew.

yea the show was great. victor is so relaxed at these things and treated everyone as a friend. and the things he can do with that bass. wow. i learned a lot from that clinic, and it was great getting to talk to some fellow bass players.

Glad you were able to catch the clinic.
I was at the Tampa clinic at Sam Ash, per my post.
Definitely picked-up a few things.
Great of Victor to pay it forward.

I was there and holy crap, that was one of the most informative things I have ever seen. That was absolutely brilliant. You might have noticed me there; I was the shorter guy playing the Fodera and the Aguilar gear up there with Victor.

Man, that clinic really made me rethink my philosophy on playing. Both Anthony and Victor really did some phenomenal instruction. I was absolutely in awe.

Cool to see so many great bassists in a room together. Anthony, Victor, Beaver, Dave LaRue and then the rest of us grunts.

Here are a couple of pics from the clinic:

I had a blast there. It was so much fun. I was lucky to have a great seat as well.
