Just wanted to share with my Talkbass Brothers and Sisters that Victor Wooten is re-releasing his first solo CD "A Show of Hands" on his own Vix Records as a Special 15th Anniversary Edition. To celebrate, he's hosting a Virtual CD Release Party on his website tomorrow night.
Place: www.victorwooten.com
Time: 7:30-8:30 Central Time/U.S.
It should be really cool!
See you there......

God-damn... I missed it. It sucks when you miss something you don;t even have to be physically present at... It's like you weren't there, even when you have the luxury of not needing to be...

Servers may have been really congested.

So is the cd just the same cd as a show of hands or is it different?

It's remastered and has 3 new tracks-2 with JD and one is a live solo from a Flecktones Concert.

The audio kept dropping out, according to the chatroom. It may have been servers. Hope they will post some of this later. I was there at Vic's studio and it was really cool. He played "Slide" as tribute to Mark Adams of the band Slave who just passed away. He and JD also played "You Can't Hold No Groove".
Vail Johnson, guitarist Muriel Anderson, Roy (Futureman) Wooten, Quentin Berry and Vic's son Adam all played as well.
