Did you not count the tuning pegs?

That's the guitar player you are seeing with the bird.

Look towards the top right of the frame at 1:41

Jamerson playing a Gibson?

Silly, silly...

Take another look. Jamerson is standing to the right with his P Bass. Nice clip.

No, couldn't really count tuners, but I'm certainly glad I'm wrong. On the upside, I did get to see the Hook in motion. Very rare footage, apparently.

Ya know, reflecting on this a little more, I think this whole post is just a cautionary tale not to post any "discoveries" made while stoned on your nightly dose of Ambien. The notes to the clip said Jamerson was on bass, so I see the "bassist" and I'm thinking, "Wow, what a trip. That bass player doesn't really look like Jamerson and he's playing an Ibanez!"

"Wait a minute, that's not an Ibanez, that's a Gibson. Cool, I gotta go tell everybody Jamerson played a T-bird!"

(OK, the Ibanez part I just made up.)

I'm surprised there was room for the cameraman in there - Studio A was a tiny room!
