Here is a vid that someone took, when I played in Palm Springs recently. The second half is much more bass oriented that the first half, so hang in there.
Peace and music,

The tone is more to my liking here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTtOXL_16_Y Check it out.

I don't know why I just put it together, but you've been one of my favorite recorded bass players for a decade now! Kudos to you, sir. Just when did you land that gig? It looks like some time between "Paradise" and "Cocoon", but there's a few years span there. Just trying to determine if it was you playing on some old German TV performances I have somewhere on VHS.

I actually play more finger style than pick, but these vids just captured a few tunes. Anyway, I joined K's Choice in April of '97, so it's been just over 10 years that I've played with Sarah. I toured for "Paradise in Me", and recorded everything from "Cocoon Crash" on.
The clanky tone is all P-bass. It works for a lot, but it isn't my ideal. I enjoy a good thud, but songs come first. That wasn't our regular soundman, so it was brighter than usual, too.

It's visible in a few shots of that "Come Over Here" video, but also a live "Mr. Freeze" that looked like it was pretty early on in your tenure w/ K's Choice.
