I can ask the others in the band...the guitarist is from the peninsula & seems to know everyone.
Our drummer is from the 'burg...Sherman Jones. Know him?

Anyone interested in a meeting? Probably in Richmond, as a central point. |

Winchester
Northern Neck
Middle Peninsula

I have played a few Blues Jams with him. I am temporarily back in Chicago for medical treatment...I'll be back!!!!
Does the Jewish Mother still host a Blues Jam ? There was a joint on Shore Drive that hosted one for awhile. My son and I are back and forth several times a year. Who currently hosts Blues Jams and on what nights. Do any of you cats know Lloyd. He was playing with the Funky Blues Kings. Ilook forward to seeing some of you cats in the Spring.

Or maybe I did and have forgotten it.
Personally, this thread became solid gold once someone mentioned Paul's Deli in Williamsburg. My older brother and I both went to school down there, so we both misspent FAR too much of our college careers at Paul's.
Ben - I find it highly amusing that you and I have played the same venue (admittedly 20 years apart) - I played William and Mary Hall (in the basketball season pep band - not quite the same thing, sadly).

Paul's was the only place worth going.
Sadly, I never played there, but the story of my 21st birthday at Paul's is better entertainment than any band I ever played in.
