Vito SanFilippo with TOP

I mean....Tower Of Power = Rocco Prestia, no doubt about it...Rocco is just awesome and one of my biggest influences...but recently I've bought a couple of TOP albums ("Back On The Streets " and "Dinosaur Tracks") without Rocco..the music is pretty good (even if not great as their funkier/soul albums, here is more funk/disco oriented), but the guy who plays bass, Vito SanFilippo, is just ridicoulous...one of the grooviest players I've ever heard, both with fingerstyle and slapping...and what a tone!! (Jazz Bass, I'm quite sure..)
I remember him also on a Joe Cocker album....does anybody else know/love Vito?

NickBass, check Vito out on "Tower of Power Direct" from Sheffield Labs. It's a 1981 release, and Vito's playin' is Slammin'!
