Bunch of worthy folks on that list... The Beasties and Metallica are should both get in as well. But I think Rush's time has come... although if they lost to SRV I wouldn't be upset. Now, If they lose to Slayer...
As much as I like Slayer... their time hasn't come yet. |

Seriously though. Since it's not just rock bands that go in, I feel that the Beastie Boys did more to shape music in general than Rush did. This isn't a knock against Rush, I love them.
