In early November I put a few bucks down on a new/used Spector, & just made the final payment a week before Christmas ... so it's kinda like an awesome present to myself . Apparently I was a pretty good boy this year!

Thanks.

| | Kick it in the guts, Barry!! | | Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: Seattle, WA | | | I would like to join, too. But it's a stretch to consider myself a bassist yet, in the proper vernacular. I gotta get off my duff and find an instructor. I started again less than two yrs. ago after a long absence. Doing the self-taught/play along thing is good, but I need the interaction/coaching with someone better than me. I hate to come across as soliciting, but I reckon this club might be a resource on finding a teacher near Seattle. |

TONS of musicians & I know of several whom bass is their first or only instrument. PM me & I'll send you a name or two, & you can inquire to their availability when you're ready Louis

Pruitt at Northwest Guitars in Bellevue. I've met him a few times - definitely seems like a quality guy.

Thanks for the heads-up. I have found a few leads on my own (in the interim). Some of which offer introductory sessions, as to evaluate skill level, capability and style. This should be fun. Oh, and thanks for the number!! |
