So, I'm not asking to be in the club yet, but I'm wondering--is there a PDX Bass Player's Club or an Oregonian one?

Since I was asking what everybody had been up too...
Good news!
I recently got my Johnson 5 string back from giving it to my little brother. My first bass ever.
Bad news!
When I recieved it back, It was completely ruined almost.... Numerous dents and dings, tone knob was sunk into the body ripping away the wiring. Volume knob was broken. 3 out of 5 strings where broken. tuning knobs where loose. Oh god... I nearly cried.
I've got lots of work to do. Who wants to donate? =D (Definitely kidding...Kinda) lol

I'm out west in Montesano, go to college in Olympia, and my band is in Aberdeen. Our practice space is in the building next to the one that Nirvana started out in, pretty rad.
Anybody in oly should hit me up for some jammin |

@Psychotisis: that sucks, man. I've often thought it would be fun to have my first bass again - it was a four-string, pearl-white Tune knock-off, but doggone-it, it was my first.

| | Bartle doo? | | Join Date: Jun 2010 Location: Missing Mountains | | I'd like to join. Yes, I know I currently live in Texas but I had to move down here last year for work. I'm from Arlington and can pronunce Stillaguamish and Snohomish flawlessly.
My wife and I both are desperately trying to find work to take us home. I love overcast winter days, snowboarding at Steven's pass and Mount Baker, avoiding traffic during the tulip festival in Skagit county, avoiding traffic any time of year south of Marysville, the Seahawks, the Mariners, the Silvertips and strangely miss the smell of skunk cabbage in spring bloom. I also love big snowy mountains and towering evergreens. Don't care much for black berry bushes, but I'll take that over anything in Texas any day. May I join? Please? Can you tell I'm incredibly home sick?
