Woo, more newcomers! Yes, Plays_For_Dog, your homesickness is palpable, and yes, you're welcome in this group. If I ever had to leave WA, I'd probably feel the same way.

SWEEEEEET! Thank you! I was just sitting here talking to some friends up in Clearview (Snohomish address). Hopefully I can take a trip back up this summer. Have another friend steelhead fishing on the peninsula right now. Lucky guy.

Instead I took a job down in Texas where her and I both have great jobs but really miss Washington. Mason county is beautiful.

I like it. It's close enough to work for us (Me - PSNS, wife - Harrison Hospital), but far enough where we could get an acre with a home for less than a 3 bed condo in Bremerton when we bought it. I grew up in the Bay Area, so I got REAL tired of the urban life, now when I get home, I can hear crickets, dogs, real life instead of cars. It's really nice.

I'd post bass images, but most of what I'd post would violate the commercial user policy if I posted in this forum

all the best,

Have fun! My band is doing a weekend at Kerby's in Sumner. Should be good fun as usual!

I'm playing a gig at the Manette in Bremerton Saturday if any of you Kitsap folks are looking for something to do! It'd be cool to meet some new local bassists.

I'll try to go - problem is I'm having surgery for torn meniscus on Monday, and standing/walking lately is kind of an issue...maybe next time you're playing this side of the water?

Oooh that's no fun. Well if you are feeling up to it that's cool, if not I totally understand. My main band is based out of Seattle but I actually live in Poulsbo so I play over here fairly often.
