I never watch these ******** reality shows. But I had to cause, he is the guy that influenced me to be a bass player. He was my hero when I was a teenager and I wanted to be that guy! Its so sad seeing whats become of him. The previews show him being violent towards camera crew, smashing a car windshield, and flipping out like Murderface style!
He comes in and needs to be treated for a open wound caused by heroin,it showed video of him and his dad smoking coke, and doing other drugs. And he claims to have done LSD 50+ times, and a variety of other drugs that he is addicted to. In my mind he will always be the AIC bass player, I wish he could be with them again. Unfortunate for him he was arrested last Oct. on drug charges and held to a 100,000 dollar bond! |

That said, Mike Inez is pretty awesome too hehe |

| | | Is this a new Celeb Rehab? I know there was one on over the last few weeks but didnt know MStarr was on it. Is this a new season already. Those shows do suck but like a train wreck I cant turn away.

Is it me, or is Dr Drew a total condescending a-hole sometimes? Someone would be spilling their guts to him, pouring their heart out, and he'll sit there with his bottom lip stuck out and a look on his face like he's taunting them to cry.
"Aww...poor widdle baybee. You gonna cry? You gonna cry now widdle baybee? Cry. Boo hoo."
*EDIT*
come to think of it, I dont know if this was the same show. This one was about sex addict rehab. But still...

| | | | That was crazy tonight, he threw up all over the place, cussed out the staff, smashed a lamp, and then went into a psychotic break. He was in another world! |

Dirt is an all-time classic album for bass.
definitely tragic to see anyone in the shape he's in, hopefully this will help him sort out his demons, dude needs to get it straight and not end up like Layne.

| | | | I have a drummer friend that knows Mike and is actually helping him get straight. That show was taped almost a year ago I believe. I also felt bad for the guy and the **** he was going through. He says on the show that his life was great when he was in AIC, and life after just went downhill.
Anyways, he's gigging around now with a band called MOTORCADE. Another friend of mine seen them and said they were great!!!
good luck Mike! |
