What Bass player should I be?

So I got a fill in gig for a few dates in May with a cover\variety band. They all dress up as famous type musicians and have a good time. Their full time bassist usually dresses up as Gene Simmons. I don't want to pick the same character as him so I need to pick someone else.. So looking here for ideas.. So far I have thought about Flea with the stuffed animal pants or Sid Vicious. Problem is not many bass players stand out to the non-bass playing person so picking someone most people will recognize is hard.. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Randy Jackson. Of course, being black........ and huge would help.

Oh Yeah! Bootsy would be awesome, even if no one under the age of 40 will know who you're supposed to be, you'll still look like a total rock star.

Honestly, most people in your audience won't know the difference between a bass and a guitar. So you could also dress up like a guitar player, seriously. That opens things up a bit as well. You could even do Slash and they won't know.

As a tall skinny white boy, why not Billy Sheehan? Or Duff? Duff is easy, just get a CBGB shirt and cut off the sleeves.

shave your head, rock a mean mustache and tape two drumsticks to your plucking fingers.

Instant Tony Levin and you already have the MM.

Ahh good one.. I even have a black and white P\J bass like his. Not to mention their guitar player is dressing as Slash so it would kinda fit.. Just need the wig and the CBGB shirt.. Thanks!

Get yourself a mannequin, stick some syringes in it's neck and arms, and dress yourself up (or down) like Sid Vicious.

Get a long frizzy black wig, glasses, and a Rash T-shirt, and a J bass if you can get one. Instant Geddy!

Going off of the guitarist theme, John Lennon is one of the most recognized muscians in the history of musicdom. All you need are the glasses.
