What bassists use flatwounds on their Precision other than Pino and Jamerson?

I am loving the sound of my new Precision with its TI flats. I am looking for some other music to inspire me with the Pbass with flats sound. Any suggestions suggestions other than Pino and Jamerson?

Steve Harris of Iron Maiden has a signature line of Rotosound flats.

I think Duck Dunn used/uses flats, though I'm not positive on that one.

Duck does indeed use flats. He's said he tried some rounds, but went back to flats pretty quickly.

Carol Kaye uses flats only, and most of her classic recorded work is a Precision with the (then) stock Fender 850 flats. Sadly, Fender doesn't make anything that sounds like 850s now.

Larry Taylor used LaBella flats when was playing a P with Canned Heat, though I understand he now only plays double bass.

Stephen Stills used a P with flats for the entire first CSN album, and any bass tracks he's recorded himself.

Bob Babbitt used flats on his P while recording the bulk of his Motown work, including that beautiful line and sound on Gladys Knight & The Pips' "Midnight Train To Georgia".

Tommy Cogbill used a P with flats for his work too, so that's what we're hearing on "Son Of A Preacher Man" by Dusty Springfield, "Funky Broadway" by Wilson Picket, and Aretha's "Chain of Fools".

flats make up the bulk of recorded precision sounds.
and precisions id say make up a bulk of recorded music.

many session players especially in nashville use flats 100%
it just doesnt interfere with the sonic spectrum of of melodic instruments.

I believe that Flea used flats on his J when he recorded Stadium Arcadium with it.

FWIW, I put on my first flats (Chromes 50-105) on my P about two-and-a-half months ago, and I honestly can't see me ever going back to rounds. Absolutely love 'em...the sound, the feel, and supposedly they last forever!

(EDIT...thanks for the JMJ link above. Just watched it after I posted...his Chromes are FOUR YEARS old!)

I thought Mike Mills used Dean Markley Nickel Steel Bass Med. round-wounds. Has he changed ?
