| | | lowsideonacurve is a combination of low side and on a curve.
Naturally "low side" represents the bass and "on a curve" seems to be how I learn everything.
Being an avid motorcyclist the name has two other meanings for me. "low side" because I love nothing more than leaning a bike over on a good twisty back road and getting on the low side of the tire and "on a curve", well that's where the fun begins.

| | | | I used to be active in an online game called "Quake2" for which I needed a nom de guerre. One player named Lee adopted the name "Leethal". My name is Cy, so I stole his idea. Unfortunately Cycho has become a very common name. On many forums I can't use it. |

| | | | Pretty obvious, my nickname is something I've had my entire life, absconded from the Jimmy Dean Song when I was little. AZ because that's where I live now.

| | | | I command the bass? It was 3am and I wanted to use something separate from my normal go to for online names that I've had since I was 12.

Marty - So when you're playing (bass) you feel like a preserved moose on stage?
Derek - Yeah.

| | | Meshuggah is a Swedish experimental death metal band, one of my favorites from the genre. While they're not my favorite band of all time, I thought the name suits me cause it means "crazy" in Yiddish, and that's a pretty accurate description of my stage persona. I'm a mellow, easy-going guy off stage, but on stage, while I never talk between songs (despite doing backup vocals), I like to snarl and make faces at the audience, wear ridiculous outfits, and jump around when it doesn't affect my playing. I originally picked up the persona with my industrial-prog metal band in high school, but it's become natural to me with my current fusion and OBW endeavors.
And...604's the area code of my hometown, Vancouver, BC, Canada.
EDIT: And I must say, there is a select group of very attractive females who like a snarling, borderline-psychotic, manimal of a bass player
