Greg is rarely mentioned as one of the greats. But who plays like this today? It KILLS!
And just a good ol' J bass. The sound is awesome.

The newest Bass Player mag (Ricky Minor on the cover) has an "article" with Greg Lake.
I usually support BP...one big/major gripe I have: BP finally gets around to doing an article with an iconic player...and the article is a mere 2-3 pages of mostly fluff. IMO, the long-awaited piece on Peter Cetera from a couple years back fell into the same category.

His superb bassline on "From the Beginning" is one of the classiest ever recorded.

I dig drum magazines because they ask way better questions than most other mags, Jonathan Movers Drum magazine is great!
