What kind of bass does Janice-Marie play?

What bass is this Janice-Marie Johnson is playing? She can really play! She doesn't seem to get much credit around here, but she has serious skills!

Without clicking the link, I'm assuming you're looking at her Andreas Basking Shark bass. She also plays a Fender Jazz. Yes, she is underrated, but at the same time, she does get props from us bassists. This is my fave:

Yes, it's the Andreas Basking Shark. Thanks.. I don't see her getting much love around, but maybe I haven't searched hard enough. I wrote her asking about the bass. Wonder if she'll write back?

She will. She's like Rhonda smith. They like to communicate with their fans.

Wow, I just saw that someone here is selling his whole Andreas collection. The scale on those puppies is amazonian in proportions.

Hmmm... I wrote Rhonda Smith a few weeks ago after seeing her with Jeff Beck. Stellar playing, but no reply. Didn't really expect one though. People are busy..
