Megadeth I'd do:
Peace Sells
The Conjuring
Hook in Mouth
My Darkest Hour
Holy Wars... The Punishment Due
Hangar 18
Tornado of Souls
Rust In Peace... Polaris
Sweating Bullets
A Tout Le Monde
Trust
Washington Is Next!
The Right To Go Insane
1,320'

Slayer:
Angel of Death
Hell Awaits
At Dawn The Sleep
Raining Blood
Die By The Sword
Live Undead
South Of Heaven
Mandatory Suicide
Spill The Blood
Silent Scream
War Ensemble
Dead Skin Mask
Seasons In The Abyss
World Painted Blood
Hate Worldwide

That may be more than one CD actually. Have fun at the concert, I saw them in Dallas. Both bands will rip off your face, I guarantee it.

This looks brutal, bro. Thanks so much for helping me out. I'm so stoked for this concert. David Ellefson is one of my biggest idols.

I'm happy to help out another metalhead! Get stoked man, it's going to be an awesome concert. Ditto on David too, I was extremely happy when I heard he was rejoining Megadeth. IMO he is and will always be THE bassist for that band, no one else cuts it.

Megadeth - pretty much anything.

Slayer - begins and ends with South of Heaven for me.

Slayer - all of them.
Megadeth - most of them.

I agree 100%. Lomenzo actually did really good though, but David just knows the Megadeth sound all to well. He can lock in with the drums and guitars so nicely. All his bass lines just "fit' if you know what I mean.

Slayer - Die By The Sword. The first track I heard by them, so it kinda stuck.

Megadeth - Peace Sells I remember the music video, lol!

Unfortunately, intentional or not Megadeth's career has always paralelled metallica's in terms of output. So I kind of ignore the time period after Rust... untill System.... Anything outside of this time period will do nicely.

I missed The Clash of the Titans Tour becuase I had to take the ACT the next day. At least now I'll get that chance with the Jagermeister tour.

Mandatory suicide is I think the single best bassline I've ever heard from Araya.

But yea, basically what ty said. Risk was a horrible megadeth album, so don't even bother with that.
