Tell us what tune you loved Percy Jones playing on. It doesn't have to be written by Percy, just one he played on.
My favorite happens to be one he wrote.
Noddy Goes To Sweden from the Do They Hurt Brand X recording.
Hey any tune that can grove in 10 is tops in my book.
How about you? Tell us your favorite.

what he said, I spent a lot of time with that one.
I also loved his sliding double stop harmonics on "Malaga Virgin".

Saw Tunnels 6 years ago about a week after I started playing bass. Needless to say I was blown away. I could barely play a scale and heres Percy just doing things I couldn't even imagine. Plus my guitar player friend got hammered with John Goodsall one of his personl guitar heros.

Somehow Eno gave him a freedom that really brought out his best.

That song is very pop with Phil Collins on vocals, but there are some nice fretless licks that give that song life, IMO. Either Percy or John Giblin, it was great!

Other then "and the band was always high man"
I think it was Giblin on that track if I'm not mistaken. I also loved them playing on Wal to Wal.
