Back in late 2005 I met a piano player from NOLA who told us that everyone on his band had got through Katrina - all except his bass player, Punchy Williams. He was missing and had not been heard from.
His story touched me, and so I did as much research as I could on Mr. Williams put up this small, unexciting Web page. Most of the links are still good.

To this day I'm still not sure why I did this; I guess it was just my own personal reaction to the disaster. Anybody out there who knows what might have happened to this bassist?
