I'm a Nashville guy. I don't post alot, so I guess I'm kinda under the radar here. I usually only come visit talkbass when I'm looking to buy something from the classifieds.

great to see some of you all popping up...I am going to talk to some of my other bass friends around town and try to figure out a good day/time to get a bunch of local bassists together...trying to pick a good time when a lot of the session guys and touring guys will be available...im thinking maybe sometime around the 1st of the yr, because everything slows down a little bit...ideas anyone???

Hey, hit up Dave Fowler about dropping a line to the Nashville Bass Community for a get together. He's a local pro/session guy/road guy here in town. He used to host a pro luncheon/breakfast every so often and had a lot of top studio guys that came. He might be interested in helping you try to get something together for that as I know he hasn't done his "get together" in a while. Here's his email dave.fowler@bassfrontiersmag.com

he is also the Editor in Chief for Bass Frontiers Magazine. Hit him up. He's a super nice guy and a heck of a player.

You also might want to hit Brian Barrett at The Low End (www.thelowend.net) up. He's hosted a few Bass Get Togethers too. Might have some input and such for something like this.

no...nashville only!!! just kidding. Huntsville is close enough by my account and since you're main gig is out of Nashville, why not? hey do you know Austin Curcuruto?

I'll be near Huntsville on Dec. 13 at a church playing for a CCM artist here in town, then in Tuscaloosa that night for another show with the same guy.

I used to live, literally, across the street from him in Green Hills for a year. Unfortunately, I never met him. Never was able to catch him outside or in passing. So, know him....no. Know where he lives and what he drives...yes.
