| | | | Murray used to use basically 2 basses = a black w/ rosewood Fender Precison and a Travis Bean when using a pick. George was solid! My fave era of Bowie was when he had Murray on bass. |

That was him, amazing player with amazing lines. Take a listen to Stay from Stage. He played all the bass on Station to Station, Low, "Heroes", Lodger, Stage and Scary Monsters.
I'm thinking he also used flats? |
