Definitely Tal (and more female players). I'd also like to see them feature more old school (& unsung) funk and soul players. I feel they are severly under-represented! I'm pretty much tired of seeing them feature the same ol' players year after year! Do some real solid research! I'd also like to see a feature about Talkbass and it's impact on the bass playing world.

That'll be the day! Love to see either of those (don't read the magazine, but would get it for those guys or Bob Daisley).

Willie Weeks
Greg Lake!
Jesse F. Keeler
Lemmy!!!!!!! (yeah, like that'll happen)

For my part, I think it would be great if they really tried to go for people who had not been on the cover or featured in big interviews before... I mean, Wooten, Flea, Claypool, etc all seem to show up once a year, and they've already spent much ink on Carol Kaye, Marcus Miller, Ron Carter, and all....so it would be nice to see some new blood.

Definitely. Considering the fact that the band will be active again in 08, this must happen.
