No such bassist as the best, all have different styles and it depends on your personal liking.
In my mind i would think a super bassist would be a Jaco Wooten lol yeap great jazz and great funka, but would i personally want to be that good? doesnt hurt but for my liking i think im better of as a bassist that mixes in with a band and not a solo virtuoso bassist, that is at least what i preffer....

There is no best bassist...this has been argued a million times and everyone has their own opinion. If you wanted to make a super bassist ....take every bass player ever and combine them..simple enough. This has all happened a million times before.

Mark Hoppus mixed with Mike Dirnt would make the best bassist!

Not really, what everyone else said (there's no best bassist) is true.

Steve Harris is the best in my opinion..but I am biased. LOL!

IMHO you can't mix them up otherwise alter egos might clash!

"Best" is for science and athletics. Music is art. Keep it that way.
