Ive seen that topic man, but I think 'technically advanced' is too vague. I doubt John Myung can slap like flea, nor do I think Flea can fingerstyle like John Myung.

This topic is strictly for discussing shredders :-x

John Myung, Cliff Burton, and Steve Harris come to mind.

EDIT: And Trujillo.

EDIT 2: And whoever that guy is in Spiral Architect... holy crap.

Some very silly, but fun, shredding - I can't watch this without laughing but part of me loves it too

Sheehan vs Gilbert

Plus Paul Gilbert's hilarious 'drill' solo ideas:

So silly

Percy Jones - Brand X

"Shredding in the 70's," before it was even popular - on a fretless yet...just incredible.

I'm pretty sure it's John Alderete, not Juan.

Felipe Andreoli.

By the way, he is an endorser of D'alegria basses. This basses are awesome! Check them out: http://www.dalegria.com
They use a lot of high quality brazilian woods. They have a "making of" of Felipe's signature bass on the site.
