Yep, definitely Tom Fowler. This is from a live taping in LA in August 1974. Many other songs from this taping are up on utube, including Inca Roads and Florentine Pogen, and are noticeably better transfers. That show has some of my favorite Napoleon Murphy Brock moments (F.Pogen), not to mention the other incredible musicians. Chester Thompson's single-stroke rolls (also in F.Pogen) kill me!

Thanks guys, I knew Fowler was his main guy but wasn't sure in that video.

Is that an alembic he's playing?

Tom Fowler is so good - I don't know if I am inspired by him or discouraged that I can never be that great He is one of the all time giants of bass.
