Hey, Ive been listening to this really great singer. In addition to her sexy voice, she is a very cute girl and I like the fact of her being not the typical "teen pop star" who sings "plastic" songs.
Well, enough of her.
What I wanted to know is who her band´s bassist is, because he plays some really funky basslines...I mean, I couldn´t stop moving my foot and my head by the rythm. |

This may have just been the house band for the VH1 "Save the Music" event, but I really like this bass performance of "Tell Me Something Good". (Unfortunately you can only see the bass player for about a second, at about the 2:20 mark). Our band does this arrangement and I've copied a lot from this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VISmzG0IYE8

LIVE (not videos)...he's the only one I've seen with her & he does do a nice job.
I believe he also plays on some of the tracks on her latest album....not sure if he played anything on her debut album.
Check out her DVD; good cocert footage.
(The guitarist is David Gilmore...an M-BASE guy that has played in Lost Tribe with Fima Ephron, etc).

Same hat?

| | | | Larry-
I have that album & that doesn't sound right...unless Adam Blackstone is an alias for Hubbard (I guess it's possible...Jaco was once "Jocko Pardon", Bird was "Charlie Chan", etc).
Steve Greenwell is also listed as bassist for 1 track; all the others belong to Daley.
Who's 'playiing the bass' in the video to "Fell In Love With A Boy"? I always assumed it was the guy on the recording (Adam Blackstone).
