I don't know him personally, but I've transcribed a lot of his lines and covered a lot of SRV & Double Trouble tunes. I saw him with Susan Tedeschi and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, too. But, I still have no idea where you're going with this thread.

I would love to have somebody come up to me and say I sounded like Tommy! I would know they where either lying or had a bad ear, but I would still love it.

If you want to comment on someone's grammar you should generally have good grammar yourself.

You should really fill out your profile.
If you are from another country and english is not your native
language (as I suspect), people would cut you some slack, and actually TRY to
figure out what the hell you're talking about... instead of just...
well, you see what happened in this thread.

I can count five spelling errors in your fourteen word post.

+1

A misspelled word or a little bad grammer is one thing, put the original post was such a garbled mess it was laughable. I know 4th graders who can construct a more coherent sentance.

Language is important, as poor language either fails to get your point across, or detracts from your message.

And by the way, Shannon is great. I love the way he brings freshness to his blues lines, which in lesser hands can get very repetitive.

One of my all time favorites!
His smooth groove is something I always aspire to, and never attain.

That's how I ended up in the mess of a thread.

Tommy is cool and he is very unassuming - which gives him even more appeal in my book.
