I love the punk bassists threads when they pop up. It's an overlooked instrument a lot of times in the genre (I'm blaming you, Sid, ).

I love Matt Freeman's style and feel, Dee Dee's energy, Klaus Fluoride's accuracy, Jay Bentley's thump, and Mike Watt and Paul Simonon because they are both groove monsters, Fat Mike because he brings the comedy. I'm sure I'm forgetting some great players too.

All my favorites!

Jamie buglione, Jay bentley, a few others but those are some personal favorites that don't get enough credit.

Ah! of course! Fat mike, how could I forget him? I saw NoFX in concert just a few weeks ago, awesome show. Mike has been known to throw out some pretty tasty walking basslines too. Just check out "All outta angst" for proof.

Mark Hoppus, when you factor in his singing. For bass playing alone, I'd go with Mike Dirnt.
