This can't be serious!!! Jermaine is an accomplished bassist and producer. He did his thing as a kid! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fU-hj...eature=related and for as Tito getting tissue http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cb1PkprdMVA ...only to dry his guitar after making it weep! Check out the tune "I Am Love". Tito lays down some nice stuff!

For the fact that he got to look at Shirley Jones' and Susan Dey's butts, not Michael's, Danny wins.

Yep! He really was a decent bass player early on. What most folks don't know is that Mike was a damn good drummer! Originally, Mike was not singing in the group, he played congos/bongos and did Jackie Wilson/James Brown moves (everybody thought it was cute). He learned to sing by imitating Jermaine!

Later on when Jermaine left the group, they did the same move with Randy, turns out that Randy is the most musically gifted of the bunch.

I had to vote for Danny, just because of what Stu Hamm said once. See, Danny could play all those cool Joe Osborn bass parts without his hands moving at all! And I still gotta move my hands to play bass...

While not a 'great' player, Jermaine was most certainly not a slouch on the instrument! As good as any pro player out there. Also the fact that he could play, dance and sing at the same time gives him an even greater edge!

+ 100,000,000!!!!!!!

Although they were young, the J5 were not a bublegum pop boy band! Many of their songs were on some real "Grown Man" stuff!!! The crossover stuff was pop, but the meat and potatoes stuff was seriously heavy R&B! They did some monster covers, and nailed them! Fine example was that rendition of "Walk On By" I posted was probably one of the funkiest this side of Isaac Hayes' version. They could bring it, if need be! Had you ever seen a live show, you would know EXACTLY what I mean! One of the best shows I have ever seen was the "Victory" tour when it came to Chicago in 1984. They KILLED it! Jermaine and Randy snapped! It was the first show with all SIX brothers performing. Jackie had broken his leg in a "car accident" right before the opening date. He had gotten caught cheating on his wife with the choreographer (some unknown chic named Paula Abdul) and his wife ran over him with her car in a parking lot following a rendezvous.

Sorry for the side bar!
