Inspired by another thread and a moderator's post, I thought "who's good and dead"? Ok, I'll start with John Entwistle. I need to catch up on who's dead. Morbid? Totally.

Skel | Actually, Keith played bass in a band called The Dirty Mac with John Lennon, Eric Clapton and Mitch Mitchell for the Rolling Stones' Rock and Roll Circus.
Edit: And to stay on topic: Jaco Pastorius and Charles Mingus, to name a couple.

Not a finer man in shoe leather, great guy... wonderful father, left 2 kids a wife and a fleet of Warwick's and a law office behind. I got his Jazz bass... it kinda slipped through the cracks, and his wife is letting me buy it!
