Found a couple interesting guys inspired by Wal bass thread here on TB and then searching YouTube for some players:

The Scuba Cult, totally unique:
YouTube - Chord Picking Bass Driven Song (Metal)
YouTube - The Scuba Cult - "Fusion Bass Solo and Comping" (particularly cool part starting around 1:55)
YouTube - Monster Slayer Bass Technique (Crazy, man, crazy) (music starts around 2:15)

Harry Temmer, nice fretless stuff:
YouTube - fretless Wal bass Barend Tromp Drum 'n Bass Song
YouTube - Barend Tromp "PB Is Back" on fretless Wal bass

Very, very good player.

I particularly love this track: YouTube - The Laurence Cottle Quintet - Mal Pope Show - 1994

Lovely busy, busy bassline.
