Who's Touring with John Mayer?

Does anybody know what kind of band John Mayer has for the current 2007 tour?

I don't think Pino Palladino is still playing with him, but I wonder is David LaBruyere is. . .

When I saw a current live show on "101" which is a Dish Network music channel sort of...I guess, it was David LaBruyere playing bass. It threw me because he played a P-Bass the whole show and his hair was way longer. I have only ever seen him play jazz basses. So I wasn't sure it was him for a while but then Mayer announced him. Great Concert and a whole new band (other than David LaBruyere). They sounded great! I will surely see him again when he comes back to Denver. I can't believe what a killer guitarist he is, very underrated IMO.

Cool. I'm catching them this coming Friday. David is a great player.

P-Bass? . . . Maybe John told him, "I want you to sound like Pino now!"

Yeah, John Mayer is a great musician. . . once you get pass the fact that 90% of his audience probably likes Justin Timberlake just as much, then you get to see that the kid's got some real talent.

The new album has some incredibly good pop writing. And you gotta love Steve Jordan on drums, man.

All I know is most of the people in his Audience (from what I've seen) are mostly women...so who am I to complain?

Yeah David LaBruyere is Slammin' I'm a big fan. I think he's got the same band that toured on the Heavier Things tour.

PS. Dela has a solo album out now that's really cool. Check out his myspace or Awarestore to get it.

I think he's on tour with the Who right now. I could be wrong, though. I'll be going to that show in March regardless.

Pino is touring with The Who and Steve Jordan is on tour with ERic Clapton . They were both asked before the new Mayer album was made so they had commitments.

David LaBruyere was killing on a P-bass with Mayer before the Pino hookup, I have a concert video from PBS around here somewhere. +1, on David's solo album, man, I love his playing!

Pino only plays with John in the John Mayer Trio.

Heard they will tour again in late spring 2007.

Yea I read a recent interview with Pino and he said the Trio would be back . I got into the Trio after they had already done all their touring so I will definetly go see them this time around.
