I think he's not on there because his channel is more cover oriented, where as everyone on the list is more original/ solo bass arrangement oriented- like cannibalistic zombie has some original stuff from multiple projects in addition to he covers. I know Davidsin has some deep kick stuff, but that's mostly on the bands channel, iirc.

That kid is phenomenal, though if you check the bands channel, they're pretty much doing a similar interpretation to other "joke" songs. Maybe if he branches out and finds his own voice he'll really do some more varied cool stuff. I think the list is more toward more accomplished players. Then again it's like those articles about the 100 best songs or best albums or guitar solos -- it's hard to narrow it down and there are always ones that go unmentioned. But I like those choices, most of whom I didn't know. Maybe we should compile a "best 25 un-famous bass players ". lol

By the way, i'll take a chance to spam this video of mine, i've been working on this song for like two years (i practically couldn't slap at all before).

Sounds good. Is this the beginning of "The 10 best bassists on TB?" lol Seriously, though -- nice lick, well done. (one thing -- I just heard the original and he does a triplet rake at the end of the lick, not 16th's. )

Thanks. I'm not sure which part are you referring to, you mean when in C he goes up an octave? Never really managed to figure that part out right, it also seems to be in a different time signature, but thanks for the insight, maybe it's time i get it RIGHT.

There's no Google link for that "article" because it's not real. Plangentmusic made it up himself in a sad effort to promote himself, then tried rejoining TalkBass under various usernames to try to post it to draw any attention to himself that he can. Notice it was written by a Kane "Allias" (sic)?
