Amazing bass and chapman stick player...famous for one of my favorite riffs "Too Shy" Kajagoogoo. I started researching his videos and wonder why he often wears a skirt on stage?
thanks, mike

They were given to me by the famous wrestling tag team the "Wild Samoans" Afa & Siqa used to have an instruction pro wrestling center in Hamden Ct. and I met the boys through a friend who attended their "school"!!! As soon as I get a little more "detatched" from society I plan on wearing them 100% of the time as they do. Not sure what the tradition is for under the Lava but at the time I decide to wear them out who cares whats going on underneath. Its a great look in that you kinda stand out yet no one bothers you, I like that. Doc or Somba!!! |

Thanks for noticing damn near 30 years later.

Weak attempt to turn my praise for Nick's inner strength into an argument over whether or not cross-dressers are perceived as gay.
I couldn't care less if he liked doing toads in a football uniform.
I'm just happy to see a famous person so comfortable with themselves in an era when people were burning Culture Club/Boy George records.

The original post kinda begs the question you seem to be taking exception to. As someone who's worn a kilt in public quite a bit I know from experience the question is ALWAYS there in a lot of people's minds so it shouldn't surprise you it's come up here. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
