Paul is just super funky. No doubt about it!! He has one of the deepest, in the groove pockets that you'll find. One of my favorite players for sure.

He has been one of my favorite groove guys ever since I heard Runaway a while back. His feel and tone rule.

Paul Turner is absolutely a fantastic bassist. If I could have the skills of anybody out there, he would be at the top of my list.

I think that more beginners should learn his lines rather than focusing on some of the more acrobatic lines from Flea/Claypool/Wooten/etc.
