Will is the man. Seen him live a few times, what a pleasure. He is a very underappreciated bass player.

Will is probably one of the coolest players out there. I love watching him play.

Not completely underappreciated.... he received the "Bass Player"' lifetime achievement award in 2004. That's a big hat to wear.

True

But you don't hear him that much compared to other less accomplished bass players. As you already know the guy has been on a ton of albums.

That. Was. Awesome.

Thanks so much for sharing this! What complete control of this instrument! And I really dug the little bit of "Skintight" before he ventured into "Good Times."

Cool, cool stuff. This one has been downloaded for posterity, humiliation, and inspiration.

He sounds like he's using some foam under bridge or something, but I don't see anything like that. Any ideas on how to get that sound? It's funky as hell.

That was a fun clip. Will Lee is not doing anything really new, but he does everything common so very well. It is easy to see why he has gotten so much work over the years. I think it is also a nice promo for the Will Lee Sig. I seem to hear alot more of a middy, vintage sound than I usually expect from a Sadowsky.

I have played his instrument at Sadowsky's booth. No foam or any secret magic. There is a mid-freq-switch for fingerstyle. And it's 1.45 at nut, plus has a 70s shaped neck which was a bit strange for me, otherwise it seemed to be an "ordinary Sadowsky"
