Will Lee Question?

A friend recently told me that Will Lee has either loaned or donated dozens of his basses to schools to boost their music programs. Does anybody know about this? If this is true, it is one more reason to admire this man. So many famous players ebay their stuff (nothing wrong with that, and some need the money), so it is great to see a player of his stature give back and help keep music alive.
