am i the only one who didnt know Will Lee (of Letternan's CBS Orchestra fame) sings in nearly every commercial i saw growing up btwn my saturday morning cartoons?
Ii've known he was a fine singer for years. Not only on jingles but on albums. For example, he and Hamish Stuart (Average White Band) did alot of the background parts on Chaka Khan's first solo album (features "I'm Every Woman" on which Will Lee played some mean phased or flanged bass.)
Hey, did he do," Hanker for a hunk of cheese?" or, "Conjunction Junction?" or are we talking later? It'd be interesting to learn I was digging on a bass player (even if he wasn't playing bass) while I was 5.

Since the 70's Will has been singing commercials, he has a great voice! On the Brecker Brothers album 'Back To Back' he sings about three songs, also on the 24th Street Band albums.
