I've never actally thought about the p-bass like that... perhaps I'll try and do some more research and add a page.

Had an older female singer Bonnie Lee that did some hillarious, bawdy-type blues w/ double entendre lyrics.

Being able to see him weekly was nice and he always had a great band behind him. Mostly jazz cats the last few years of his life. They played a very smooth version of chicago blues.
