A couple of years ago, before I got sidetracked by rock and country, I was slowly working my way through Willie Kent's "Comin' Alive" album. Great songs and good tasteful bass lines.

RIP Wille, you *where* a true Gent.

Can't stand these blues and rock legends passing away anymore. There are so few new generation leaders in blues and "traditional" rock.

RIP Willie.

It's kool,we're all musicians and most musicians like to share and news like this need to be known.Willie was a very nice, informative and very down to earth kat(and he really liked my grooves and somtimes would ask me about my approach to the pocket, which always caught me off gaurd, because I am no where near the pocket player he was).

My man Willie played the same P-Bass for well over 30 years.
He will be sadly missed. May the Lord be with you Willie, God bless.
