Nice!!

Hey theduke1. She looks pretty sweet for sure!! Good luck without lines. I'd be lost without lines on my fretless.

By the way - I'm loving my fretless Pedulla Thunderbuzz.

I keep trying to convince myself to pick up a fretless, but I say to myself, "Self! You have proven on three different occasions you suck on a fretless."

Hope this time around goes better. You'd think with the "getter older...wiser..more patient" thing would bring you some better mojo.

But i like that finish!

I don't know what the finish is called, but I'll take more pics when I get it.
I have a plan about the ghost lines, there are fret fots on the side of the neck so that will help. I'm waiting for the seller to activate the paypal and forward the shipping cost to me I'll keep you posted!

I don't know if the deal is going through or not. I hope so, but it is taking a long time for the guy to setup paypal and get me the shipping, oh well, I'll just keep looking till I know for sure!

Was out digging some of my favorites guys I've worked with over the years playing out at DD's near Mukwonago tonight. Marky St. James was smacking the groove with his Warwick Thumb blasting through his GB rig. Sounded nice and fat. His band is called Redline and features my pals from my old Pedestrian band, Jim Beau (guitar) and Andy Von Radd on the drums. A few years back they had a band called The Buggs with the late great Lane Klozier on vocals doing "punk-ish" covers of Beatle songs and other gems like Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald and To Sir With Love. Way cool band and way cool guys. After Lane passed away the guys reformed with Steve Grimm from Bad Boy, and although they no longer do The Buggs stuff, they are still 100% entertaining. Do go see them out and about in the SE WI area if you get a chance. And feel free to "bugg" Mark about his rig. He loves to talk gear and music and is a great friend to have in the biz.

Hope everyone out there had a good Turkey Day. The Packers win made the day go a ton better!

This is a great time of year to head out and see some good live music! Starting to look like more places are going back to live music.....you can only hear a bad rendition of the theme from Fame just soooo....many times.

But seeing that we have over 100 members these days, I got to think we've got more gigging players out there than we ever hear from. I do realize there are many "in between" dances, but there have to be more of us playing out. Sure would be nice to hear from more of you as to when and where and maybe some follow up pics via these fancy "smart phones". Let's hear from you that are out on the road a little bit more often! Good info and good times to be shared with the guys who don't get to gig often or are lacking some of the experience to do so!

I have already called Dick's Music and had them order the switch to have the new G&L modified to coil taping like my fretted 2500. I plan on changing the strings to La Bella tape wounds to give it a smoother sound!!
I'll post pics and comments as I get it and will bring it to the next GTG. BTW when will that be?
