I actually ordered a GK MB 800 , but then got an offer on a brand new Fusion 550 that I couldn't pass up (can't say why and from what GK Dealer though) , so I cancelled my order on the MB 800 and should have my Fusion 500 by the end of next week. Unfortunately my GK Neo 212 cabs that I ordered are still on back order until the end of January and I probably won't have them until the beginning of February. I didn't post this in any of the GK threads though because they will probably think I'm nuts because I couldn't make up my mind and then when I did choose the MB 800 - I cancelled and went with the Fusion 550. I simply couldn't pass up the price that I was offered to buy a new Fusion 550.

Admittedly, upright is my main axe these days. I stick around the BG forums because there are some topics of interest, and to keep up with gear developments.

Sorry I missed the GTG, I had a family thing going on. Next time, I'll bring all of my insane DIY gadgets.

Not playing much these days at all.
I started making custom leather straps in June.
Been dedicating free time to that.

Although, in October I was able to buy back a bass I sold 5-6 years ago on Ebay.
Happy to have it back
Here it is with a strap I made specifically for it.

Yeah, I knew him back in the 80s when he played bass and sang in a cool rock trio called The Converters with Pete McManaman (now going by Peter Mac, apparently) on guitar and Dave Braun on drums. I'm sure he lives in the Milwaukee area still. Pete is still around doing incredible guitar work. Dave I've actually seen gigging in Waukesha a couple of years ago.

Hi. I live in Madison and play electric with a jazz combo, All That Jazz. We play every month or so for a Sunday brunch at the Club Tavern in Middleton, and have played gigs at Lilianas, some weddings and other assorted functions.

Thats a Warmoth Gecko. I gigged the crap out of that bass from 98-05.
Then I went on a Lakland terror(15-20 different basses)
