As long as you have a debit/credit card, I'd just go to Amazon.com and save the gas money. If you are looking for something in the 4 to 10 foot length, you should find something for under $15. Anything longer and you will more than likely need to place an order as they probably wouldn't have any insert cables much longer than that in stock.

But with an item like that, Full Compass certainly will have that (a 4-10 footer) in stock. The Lipps warehouse is a cavern and they have an astounding amount of cables, connectors and adapters there. But I'd still buy from Amazon, the Lipps really don't need anymore money. They are one of the top 5 on-line/catalog musical/theatrical/contracting merchandisers in the country. Or just order it online or by phone right to Full Compass. And a local guitar center would also have the shorter ones.

I'm thinking March or April might be a good time for a Fox Valley GTG. January and February are just to unpredictable weather-wise. Just my opinion... It's totally up to you guys though. I'm hoping to be able to make that one and bring my new GK Fusion 550 and I should have the two GK Neo 112 cabs by then.

Looks like my Uber 410 might be sold to a guy just across the Minnesota border West of St. Croix Falls. I'll have to drive over two hours to meet him in Ladysmith if all goes as planned. Then I can order my GK Neo cabs.

Hey Duke - Don't tell Steve - I want to see if he notices I have a different bass rig next time we practice. lol

For that to happen he would have to talk to me and we both know that does not happen anymore

Pinback Concert in Madison Nov. 18th

Here are a few more photos of the Pinback concert in Madison last Nov. 18th. The funny thing is - In the photos of me talking with Pinback's bassist (Zach) - he actually looks interested in what I'm saying!?!? lol The singer/guitarist (Rob crow) is in the back ground talking with someone else. I did get to talk with him a little too.

Five hour round trip and the GB Uber 410 is sold. Now I'm waiting for my two GK Neo 112's to get here to go with my new GK Fusion 550. I won't miss lugging that 410 around - actually looking forward to carrying the Neo 112's at around 30 Lbs each.

Sure thing man! Honorary club member #11. It's cool that your wife has Wisconsin ties. If you ever do move to the state maybe you could make it to one of our GTG's.

Thanks, that would be great I have never attended one of those.
We will be headin that way on the 19th. From Steven's Point to Little Chute and on up to Pound to make all the family stops. Her brother will be at Tanner's Merry Metal Xmas Four on the 23rd in Kimberly. I don't usually go to metal shows but I will to support his band

Video clip of Pinback in Madison Nov. 18th

Here is a video clip that my Nephew took at the Pinback concert that we went to in Madison on Nov. 18th. Towards the end of the clip he pans the recorder on my fiance (short red hair) and me (balds guy). Zach was killing it on his Alembic (all night long...). Notice the Gallien Krueger rig (GK 800RB and two GK cabs - 410 on top and 115 on the bottom (not seen in the video))?? It sounded friggin' amazing!!!
Here's the video link.

http://youtu.be/59S_diTT4Eg

Quite in here lately besides me and theduke - Everyone still alive?? Hello...Hello...Hello... I think I hear an echo.

Hmmm.... Dead quite in here lately? Not even a comment on my latest Pinback photos (me talking with the bassists) or video. Crickets... I try to keep things interesting. Anybody else have photos of themselves with famous / semi-famous musicians?? I know Keith(wah) posted a few a while back in one of our other threads with Jane Wiedlin (of the GoGo's).

Any thoughts on thedukes suggestion for a Fox Valley / Green Bay area GTG in a couple of months??

I don't know who those guys are *sheepishgrin*

I'm more interested to hear about your new GK rig! Knowing about your back I'm curious why you didn't get an MB Fusion instead of the 550?

Just thought I'd try to enter the dialogue. I lived in Wisconsin for quite some time in the '60s, '70s and '80s. I played bass for Ziggy and the Zeu, Daddy Whiskers, Goldrush, Little Vito and the Torpedos among others. I'm living and playing in Austin, TX now.
