The guy who recorded, mixed, etc., my bands newest demo songs called me about a week ago asking me to play on his album! Im sooo pumped! Being only 16, this is a huge honor and could lead to many things!

Only one song, but the song Im playing on has one of Jeff Beck's old guitarists playing lead! Thats awesome! Im not Tal Wilkenfeld, but thats still really cool!

3 o'clock today. Ill be playing the fretted as he requested it, but Ill miss my fretless..

But hey, Im not complaining!

Man, thanks RC. I smiled at that, mainly because I can remember when I was PMing you for pedal questions and such.. Now look!

Thanks for everything you have done.

Thanks lowend!

Im afraid to ask to get paid, as he would pay any other bassist to do it.. But its just money, I like the experience and music better.

Good work, Jordan! Hope it all turns out great, I'm sure it will.

I'm not too much older than you and I've toured with various top-charted reggae artists across the country and world, age definitely isn't a problem. Just don't give up...

Man, I love it when I hear about people our age getting significant gigs. I just finished my first in-studio recording session on Tuesday, ten tracks for my drummer who was sending them off to Julliard for auditions. At eighteen, I feel that's pretty big for me, but it's nothing to doing what you're doing at sixteen. Best of luck, man.

Yes we are.

I always thing of Stefan Lessard when I get any doubt of not being able to do something. He started in DMB when he was 16!!!, and now look!

Well, that was a blast! I ended up playing the track I went for, laid a track down for another song, and get asked to play on yet ANOTHEr song! Thats 3 songs total! Im psyched!

I need to clear one thing up though, Im sure you have heard of Tim Bogart of Beck, Bogert, and Appice. Well, it wasnt Beck's old guitarist, it was Tim Bogert! He is the other bassist, well one of, playing on the album.

I can say I played bass on an album alongside Tim Bogert! Man, thats awesome!

I only made $20, which is $20 more than I expected, but Ill be in the liner notes and on the album 3 times, which IMO is better than money.

Im a happy camper.

That's how it all starts, my friend !

People recognize talent. They want a solid and tasteful bass line and know that you can provide it.

Do a great job and it will just keep on growing....

Rock on !
