Well, I could move there, if you're cute and can maintain a set of chops better than mine.

Yeah... I swear this place is like a construction site sometimes. A girl comes in here and everyone goes nuts... it's pathetic in my opinion.

No kidding.

We've had some pretty amazing musicians here who happen to be female (Treena Foster, for one) and they all end up going to other forums, well, for the reason stated above. Sad, really.

I don't think that will fix it Matt!

I'm impressed that Gia is still here with as much as she gets hit on. Don't let the lumberjacks run you ladies out of here!

Very sad. Not as sad as the Dudepit, in my opinion, but sad nonetheless. Thank you very much, Blackbird, for stepping in in the Moderator mode and providing a little leadership on this issue, and to bigbeefdog for doing so even quicker.

We need a "testosterone free zone" here, where members of the male persuasion (which I very much am) can check their hormones at the door and discuss as musicians, not MEN.

Welcome, intonation. I hope you find good folks, male or female, to share your music-making in SW Fla. with.

I'm a girl. I'm 18, blonde, DD, and my boyfriend just dumped me and I need a shoulder to cry on. I used to be a model, but then they caught me picking my nose and I was fired. I need a good friend.. especially one to send me their basses.

But yeah.. welcome .

Yes I am a Laydee and I adore my basses, Duke and Merlin
Im in a punk band full of guys and I have never ever in my 4 years of playing (im only 20) met another female bassist face to face.
Maybe none of them live in the north of England except me.

Ah well I enjoy scaring the teenage guys when I whoop their asses at bass
