I personally wouldn't pay $250 to see anybody in concert...

McCartney will be in St. Louis next week. I really wrestled with plunking down $250 (minimum). I decided it's cheaper to buy a DVD of his most recent tour.

Does Paul play bass any longer??? All I've seen with these days is an acoustic guitar.

Personally, he would never get $250 out of me with his pompous-ass attitude. As he said, "We're selling out concerts in 17 minutes, so somebody must think the prices are reasonable. "We're not twisting anyone's arm."

I can sleep at night knowing I played punk in the late 70's for a half of a pizza.

Seeing yesterday's rock rebels getting knighted these days makes me hope another generation will have the cahones to stir things up again.

Heh. Yeah, I knew what they were getting at, JMX. I just wanted to do that.

I did the search all posts for Zac--I mean, Martha, and it was just as funny.

Would not pay $250 to see McCartney live nowadays. He sang Blackbird live at the Queens golden jubilee thingy, it was almost painful.

no, i don't think it's worth it and anyone who is a real musician would not charge anyone to listen to what they love to do. music (and especially people) should be free.
