Amy's added two 12-strings (doubled), a 32" and 34" and recorded with the semi-hollowbody and a semi-hollowbody P-bass, so Clatter's new album "Monarch" isn't so Ric-heavy. Not that it's a bad thing, but listen to their cover of Rush's "Limelight" on CD Baby or their MySpace with Amy using her 12-string and clean/distorted/effected rig. It's "John Goodman Heavy".

I do have a few basses from the '70s, but I really mostly play my more recently-made basses, as Ian mentioned. I need to get photos of those 12-ers up one of these days!! I have 3 now! |
