Just got myself a Zune Marketplace acct to go with my new Zune .. $15 / month for all the music ya want .. until you cancel. I figure it's worth $15 / month for that .. I've already downloaded about 20 - 30 albums..

Some I did download were Bela Fleck and the Flecktones and some solo Victor stuff.

Havn't listened to the solo Victor stuff yet but Bela Fleck and the Flecktones is awesome!!!

You can get completely free live soundboard (and other) recordings of the Flecktones from "The Internet Archive" http://www.archive.org/ The Flecktones have a good policy on concert trading etc. If you dig deep enough you will also find other great bassists such as Kai Eckhardt (Garag Mahal) and Alphonso Johnson. ALso check out another great traders website 'eTree' http://bt.etree.org/ Primus, Pat Metheny all feature heavily on there and it's all of high quality and FREE.

I'm a huge Bela Fleck and the Flecktones fan. I have all their albums. I love Victors work with Bela Fleck. It is very well done, and works excellent with their style of music.

Now, Vic's solo stuff? I've got a few of them as well and I don't enjoy them nearly as much as the Flecktones stuff. The magic that is created when the flecktones get together and do their thing is simply amazing. Vic's solo albums do nothing for me.
